Welcome Home Daddy!

We had quite the eventful week, just trying to stay busy while Bryan was away for work. We did a lot of playing, some shopping, lots of cleaning - but most importantly, I got to spend so much 1 on 1 time with my Gavin. Thursday I took him to St. Cloud with me for a Dr. appointment, then we went to the mall, played in the kids play area, got his hair cut, went out for lunch and then just chatted on the way home. I think that I'm pretty fun to be around, but you should have seen his face light up when I told him he got to go to Lauren and Ellie's on Friday night. He was ALL smiles when we met Ang at McDonalds with the girls! Thank you to the Wulf's for taking such good care of my little man - and mostly just for making him so happy. I'm so glad too that Bryan is safe and home now - we missed you so much!

I rock....

I'm pretty proud of all that I accomplished today! My house was in desperate need of cleaning - and I scrubbed top to bottom all afternoon... but what I am most excited about is that I finally shampooed my bedroom carpet!!! There was a huge chocolate milk stain from Gavin that has been bugging me for months; almost to the point where I was ready to get new carpet. It makes me so happy that it's finally gone! Gavin and I just settled down to watch a little TV before bath and bed. Then I am going to induldge myself with my newest obession and watch Twilight for the 50th time while I enjoy a glass of red wine.... life is good.

super fun weekend!

We had such a fun weekend! Saturday night we spent the night at The Depot in Minneapolis. We went to the water park - Gavin had fun going down the waterslides and then swimming in the pool and playing basketball. We hung out in our hotel room with Laurie and Eric and Owen and ate pizza, watched Buzz and the boys thought they were hilarious jumping off the ottoman onto a bunch of pillows! Then Sunday Laurie and I ran the Minneoplis Marathon 5K - we were both a little disappointed we didn't do the 1/2 Marathon like we had planned, but we have some more races planned now - so something to look forward to. First, we'll do the Foot Lake Four in Willmar on June 27th - can't wait! Gavin was so fun at the race - I was so surprised to see them there at the finish line - it made my day! check out Laurie's blog for a picture of me when I saw that they had come to watch - it's pretty funny! He kept telling me - "I said go mommy go and clapped my hands like this!" The rest of Sunday, Eric and Bryan went golfing in Prior Lake, the little boys slept, played in the little pool and the backyard and Laurie and I relaxed on the deck in the sun! It was such a perfect weekend!

take time...

to smell the flowers!

more fun

We had a great time at nana and papas house flying kites, picking flowers and most of all just spending time with Owen!

fun with auntie krista!

Gavin was so excited when Krista suggested that they build a fort at Nana and Papas house! He had so much fun playing in it all weekend!

Happy Mother's Day!

We had such a jam packed, super fun-filled weekend! Saturday we hung out with Grandma and Grandpa Wulf, and even though it rained, we still hung out by the fire and had a blast! Gavin and I went to the green house with Grandma Kathy and Gr Grandma Krause while Bryan went golfing with Brandon. Saturday evening we got to see Braylon and Kade - Gavin loves to go to Jeremy and Jackie's and play! Then we all showered and were out the door in 25 min (impressive... I know) to go the Jon and Christie's wedding to see auntie Jill and Nana and Papa! Sunday we went to the cities to see Laurie and Eric and Owen, and have a little photo shoot with Nana and Papa - we got some really cute pics - even though we had to cut the shoot a little short - not a problem at all! Then the rest of the day was spent relaxing and hanging out with Owie - Gavin had a blast and did not want to leave that night! They looked so cute in their matching outfits! Gavin gave me a caribou gift card (yummy!) the book "Llama Llama misses Mama" and the cutest card he colored! I had a great mother's day!
